I called them today; supposedly the parts got in today, and once they get done working on some Focus, they'll start working on mine. Sweet.

Spoke with the service advisor a few minutes ago. They are finishing up the Focus tomorrow morning, and then told me my F150 was next in line.

He gave me a complete date of Friday, but that was mainly in case they encounter any issues with it tomorrow while replacing things.

I have to be honest, though - I'm going to request a survey and complain about the amount of time. I trust them to do good work, but a solid two weeks for a valve body and lumbar support replacement is a bit ridiculous.

I understand, Kung; thanks for letting me know about this. I looped in your regional customer service manager, and sent the case number your way. Please let me know if you need anything else!

Update:

Got my truck back! Thank God. LOL

They replaced the valve body separation plate and the lumbar assembly. All looks well - except for the fact that as I was cleaning out the backseat, I saw the bottom of the back part of the driver's seat unclipped. (The bottom of the cloth of the back seat hangs down, and has a plastic clip on it that is clipped to the underside of the seat.)

Not even a big deal....so long as that's not all that was missed. LOL It does drive better, though, and no seat squeaks.

Ok...spoke too soon. Seat squeaks galore. *facepalm* Evidently I'm going to have to fix that myself. At least the transmission doesn't buzz any longer when I go from drive to park, and vice vs.

I'll update your case with this information, Kung. While I'm glad to hear that the transmission is no longer buzzing, I'll see to it that the seat squeaking gets the attention it deserves. I've made the CSM aware. They also have a follow up call scheduled for Monday; if you'd like it expedited, just say the word and I'll get that request in.

Get what expedited - the call? I can wait till Monday. So long as it gets fixed, I'm good with that.
