Default 2011 XLT V8 5.0 crew cab shaking after hot

I got this truck a month ago from a private seller .
The truck has the front wheels kind of " blocked " after a few minutes of driving it. Already changed the rotors for new , new ceramic inserts on the front wheels , new calipers and hoses as well. Today I installed a new master cylinder . Still the same, after driving a couple of miles , the brakes start to get hot and the truck feels as if the brake is applied, the truck scale, you can see the vibrating in the passenger seat, the truck also shakes the steering wheel in braking. I lifted the truck and the front wheels do not roll freely

There is the ABS/Traction Control pump in between the master and the calipers. Chances are you have some bad valving that is not releasing the pressure in it.

I know this thread is supposed to be for 2011 and 2012 but this problem is exactly what I am dealing with on my 2010. I just purchased the truck 2 weeks ago with 47,500 miles. The Ford dealer where I purchased the truck has tried to help by doing a road force balance on the Firestone Destination tires but that didn't help. They swapped on a set of wheels/tires from a different truck to try and isolate the problem but that didn't work either. Service tech thinks it is drive shaft related but says there is no way to balance the shaft. Is he correct about this not being possible?

Model Year: 2010
Engine: 4.6L

No way for THEM to balance the shaft, but there are companies that can balance it. Usually speed shops can do it, but finding one is the key. In this case Google is your best bet.

How does Ford feel about this database? Over 300 posts in 4 years. Only common denominator, well 2, two piece drive shaft and the name, Ford. Imagine all the people that don't do forums and don't drive daily. So, if I replace shocks beef suspension and get new wheels and tires I'll still have a shaky bouncy truck? At least it looks good

Just throwing my two cents in here, but my 2012 screw 3.5L has been in the shop collectively about a month now for a wobble/vibration on takeoff (3-6MPH) as well as a fairly consistent one at about 22MPH, more noticeable when slowing down, but not rotor related as far as I can tell. My dealer replaced the driveline, torque converter, transfer case, serviced the rear end, did motor balance tests, and even replaced a bunch of the clutch plates in the transmission. None of this solved my issues.

I coughed up for the raptor trans mount, and I can't replicate the 5MPH or takeoff shudder anymore. It is completely gone. I still have the one around 20MPH, which has everyone stumped. I confirmed today that if you have the truck in 2nd gear it still does it, so that kind of rules out the specifics of 3rd gear in my opinion.

Thinking of giving plugs a shot next even though I am not getting misfires.

I have a 2011 3.5 supper crew and had a shutter problem, but at a higher speed and on hard acceleration or under heavy load. the dealer tried everything but couldn't get the problem to stop. I finally asked them if it could be the Plugs, sense I had read post where others had found it to be the problem. they told me that they check and there were no trouble codes. I had them change them anyways just to check, the problem was gone truck was running like new again. I had the same problem come back about 65,000 miles later, I change the plugs myself and once again my truck is back to it's good old hotrod self. I inspected the plugs as I pulled them out and found a very fine crack in the porcelain in 2 of them. the new plugs are not as tough as the old ones. I would try changing them, it can't hurt.

Default 6th gear shudder

2012 F-150 4X4 Lariat Screw
157" wheelbase
Ecoboost 3.5L V6
Electronic 6-Speed Auto
Dearborn

My truck shudders and feels like i hit a pothole everytime I accelerate at any speed over 55mph in 6th gear. It is starting to do the same in 5th gear as well. I have 95,000 miles currently and this started at 80,000 miles

Replace your plugs and it will be back to normal. I have 32K and need to replace them as its starting to do it again. I had regapped the OEM plugs to .030 and the shudder went away.
