Why not just get custom tunes done? Seems like a waste of money to cheap out with a chip....

I'm not cheaping out. I just thought it might be easier to do the chip. I can't believe the difference with just the exhaust system and cold air intake and resonator delete did for the truck. Better gas mileage and throttle response and sound.I may not even put the chip in.

You think those made a difference - wait to you break and get some custom tunes put on. Makes more of a difference than those all combined in my experience.

I'm running 5* but there are others as well.

Polish is right, if you have already felt a difference, you are going to be amazed with some custom tunes. Not only do they provide incredible power, but also greatly improved shifting, much better throttle response, and significant MPG increases. I am currently running SSI tunes and love them, but that is a discussion for another day. Most tuners with custom tunes only run you about $500-600. Biggest bang for buck possible.

I heard a f150 ecoboost tremor the other day and the guy driving it stood on it in the parking lot and it sounded a lot better then mine. I talked to him and he swore the exhaust was stock. I did some research and found out the tremors don't have resonators, I guess because they are regular cabs. Anyways that's the sound I am after, just want to know its running idling and a little louder when I get on the gas. My truck is 2013 f150 ecoboost super cab with the 6.5 bed. I have a factory chrome tail pipe exhaust tip. Which pipe do I need that will just bolt on? I read every post and didn't see where any one did it with a ecoboost with a 6.5 bed and a super cab. I also read that one has a counter weight which I don't understand. Thanks for any help 👍

Pretty sure this pipe is the one you need: FORD 9L3Z5A212C
Also, you don't need to worry about the counter weight.

I measured and it looks like I would need a 30 inch piece of pipe. Do you know if that's how long that part number is?

Well I ordered 9L3Z-5A212-C today. I read that it's 30 inches long so hopefully where I read that measured it correctly.

My truck came from the factory with the "Resonator Delete Mod". RCSB's are so short that they don't put a resonator on them.

They also sound better in my opinion 👍.
