Just had the controller activated but it does not show up in the instrument cluster. Does a trailer have to be connected to see the controller in the cluster???? Thats at least what i was told by the dealer today.
Thanks
Thanks

Cycling through the options, it won't show in the cluster until it's connected but it will show up briefly if you hit the -/+ gain on the controller. You'll see the gain and it will say "no trailer". Also, it will show in the system check verification.

Does the controller light up when the headlights are on or anything before being activated. Just want to make sure that the controller I got works before I go back and raise hell at the dealer.

Kev, if for some reason there is something wrong with the one we sent you, you can always send it back for a replacement. No need to raise hell
I would have to say though that it would be the first time that I have seen a trailer brake controller fail. We sell at least 3-5 per day and never have problems.
thanks,
Joshua

Sorry that wasn't directed towards you guys(Tasca). I was meaning the dealer here in town that supposedly activated it. I don't think it is a bad controller.......I think that the dealer didn't activate it like they said. I am checking with them tomorrow. If it looks to be the controller I will get in contact with you.
Sorry for the confusion. you have always been great to work with.
