Default 2010 Svt Raptor

What is everyone's take on the '10 SVT Raptor? Been watchin a few youtube videos of it, looks pretty sweet! Don't think bankrupt Chevy and Dodge will be able to touch it! Looks like a off-roader's dream truck!

I dunno, to me SVT means street and wicked speed. Dunno why they went the off road route. Why not just make a special off road edition. They need to bring back a version of the lightning.

I think it is great that they went the off-road route with the SVT team. Drag racing is for sports cars in my opinion. Trucks are for work, hauling, and off-roading.

The standard F-150s do a great job for hauling and work use leaving off-roading as the area for a special edition.

P.S.: SVT Raptor = "special off road edition" to quote the comment above that asked "Why not just make a special off road edition?"

I think it is great!! They have needed an special off road edition truck for a while. I do agree though, some form of the lightening should be brought back, but I doubt that it will.

the SVT Raptor-R took 3rd place in the Baja 1000 in class 8. thats pretty good for a stock truck. its just one class below the trophy trucks. only one thing broke on it and it was the spring eye. but ford pointed out that the leafs were not stock.

off roading is nice and all but then there are more people buying screws for family vehicles.. a hi po truck well there is nothing wrong with that. i personaly think ford should make a toby keith edition ford f150. but that is my opinion. Not everyone goes off road just like not everyone stays on paved road so yes there should be special edition for both avenues. I am not against 4x4 but i personally have no use for one. I live in an area where the climate is not that bad and I have no intentions of going off road.... but i would definitely be interested in a go fast truck...

I can't wait for a few years and find a nice used one as the price tag will probably be pretty stout! I've been watchin some youtube videos. They have an editor of a car magazine riding shotgun with the speedometer hitting the limiter at 100 mph going down a desert road. Very impressive on how smooth it is! Amazing for a "stock truck"!

I love the new Raptor, personally I like how SVT went to the off road category. Once im done with school Ill probably pick one up. Thatll be perfect for mass considering all the snow we get up here in new england.
