2010 Super Cab Rear Seat Removal
To ATCguy,
I have spent several hours trying to remove the back rest on the rear seat in a Ford F-150 FX4 Super Cab. All I have to show for it is cut fingers. I was hoping that you might be able to post scans from the manual on how to do this.

Ok...
First page is the exploded view of the rear seat. About halfway down the 2nd page begin the instructions... and the 3rd page is instructions for removing the cover.
I found it curious that the first thing the instructions say is to remove the backrest cover, and references the instruction page for that. But when you go to the cover instruction page, the first thing it says there is to remove the backrest???
It seems those plastic lock clips are the key.
Anyway... here you go. Good luck! :-)

After another hour of trying I give up. I think if I removed the bottom half of the rear seats first it would help, but that is too much stuff to take apart just to remove the head rests.

If you'll lift up the bottom corners of the seat back, and reach your hand back towards the back of the cab, there is a flat spring. Push it. It releases the seat back so you can remove it.

Seat backrest removal
1. Release the 2 backrest latches
Locate the 2 access holes in the backrest frame aligned with the inboard edge of the child safety seat anchorages and insert a suitable tool through the acess holes. (screwdriver)
Be careful not to damage the seat trim covers.
Push in and release the 2 backrest latches.
Push the backrest down slightly to allow the latches to release then raise the backrest away from the latch.
2. Raise the backrest and release the upper clips.
3. Route the backrest through the center safety belt webbing and remove.
Locate the 2 access holes in the backrest frame aligned with the inboard edge of the child safety seat anchorages and insert a suitable tool through the acess holes. (screwdriver)

Does anyone know what these loops are for??? I tried pulling them thinking that is how you fold the back seat down but they dont do anything. There are three of them on the backseat of the SuperCab, one in the middle and one behind each headrest.
