Default 2010 seat belt warning / aftermarket car horn

Anybody know how to turn the damn seatbelt warning beep off without actually using the seat belt?

Also... does anybody have any recommendations for aftermarket car horns? I'm driving around in my F150 HD (pictured below), feeling pretty boss, but then when I hit the car horn I suddenly feel like I'm driving a ricer... painted pink!

The grill only comes as it comes, but there's a deep red exterior they call "lava" available.

This should solve your horn problem. Have one of these on my '01 and will put one on my '10 when it comes in. My '01 was a two wire horn and I was able to wire it directly without a relay.

I have noticed that the horn is very easy to get to on the new F150's.

Default Reference the manual

I remember seeing a reference in the manual for the process to adjust/eliminate the seatbelt chime.

Deactivating/activating the Belt-Minder feature

The driver and front passenger Belt-Minder are
deactivated/activated independently. When deactivating/activating
one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this will
terminate the process.

Read Steps 1 - 4 thoroughly before proceeding with the
deactivation/activation programming procedure.

The driver and front passenger Belt-Minder features can be
deactivated/activated by performing the following procedure:
Before following the procedure, make sure that:
• The parking brake is set
• The gearshift is in P (Park)
• The ignition switch is in the off position
• The driver and front passenger safety belts are unbuckled

WARNING: While the design allows you to deactivate your
Belt-Minder, this system is designed to improve your chances of
being safely belted and surviving an accident. We recommend you
leave the Belt-Minder system activated for yourself and others who
may use the vehicle. To reduce the risk of injury, do not
deactivate/activate the Belt-Minder feature while driving the vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the on position. DO NOT START THE
ENGINE.

2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately one
minute)
• Step 3 must be completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt
warning light turns off.

3. For the seating position being disabled, buckle then unbuckle the
safety belt nine times, ending in the unbuckled state. (Step 3 must be
completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt warning light turns
off.)
• After Step 3, the restraint system warning light (airbag light) will be
turned on for three seconds.

4. Within approximately seven seconds of the light turning off, buckle
then unbuckle the safety belt.
• This will disable the Belt-Minder feature for that seating position if it
is currently enabled. As confirmation, the restraint system warning
light will flash four times per second for three seconds.
• This will enable the Belt-Minder feature for that seating position if it
is currently disabled. As confirmation, the restraint system warning
light will flash four times per second for three seconds, followed by
three seconds with the light off, then followed by the restraint system
warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds again.

Pig9r does the f150 have that high pitch like that accord on utube has. The horn sounds loud but really "squeaky"

The 09 and 10 have a different sequence than the instructions listed in the prior post. Up to the 08's it was 9 times, now the new and improved 10's only require 3 buckle unbuckle actions.

If you are referring to the F150 stock horn, I don't have my new F150 yet, so I can't answer that. But if you are asking about the Wolo horn, it sounds like traditional "high-low" air horns. This sound clip is pretty accurate. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...6940_200326940
