Default 2010 Reg Cab/Reg bed Single side swept Gibson exhaust

I just wanted to post a few pics and experience of installing a Gibson Exhaust. It is the single side swept 3 inch exhaust. I went with the aluminized tubing, I live in southern AZ and felt that stainless steal would just be wasting money.

I found that it was easier to remove the lead pipe out of the vehicle, than rotate the lead pipe and remove it. The instructions tell you to rotate the entire exhaust to separate it from the lead pipe. You'll see what I'm talking about in the pics. To remove the OEM exhaust I lifted the truck from the frame just to stretch the suspension, that gave me enough room to remove the OEM exhaust. When installing the exhaust I installed it in sections from front to back using jack stands to hold the muffler in place and a lot of wd40 to slide the supports into the isolators.

It took about 45 minutes for the entire removal and installation

Good quality and great sound.

I honestly haven't felt much of a difference. I reset my trip meter and MPG meter every fill up. so far I am averaging 20.1 with highway/city driving. That's up almost a full gallon. I hadn't seen less than 19 or more than 19.5 prior to the install. I do have to mention that I have only driven about 180 miles since the install, but it looks promising.
