Hey guys...I'm new to the forum but hoping for a little help. The driver side mirror on my 2010 Platinum stopped folding in and out when I use the switch.

I took it to the dealer and they said the whole mirror needs to be replaced...expensive just like I expected it to be.

I ordered a used set of 2013 Platinum mirrors on eBay thinking they would be compatible. I don't have them yet, but as I look around online it appears that the wire harness on the 2010 mirror might be different than the harness on the 2013 mirror. I noticed after I paid for the 2013 mirrors that they are heated, my 2010 mirrors aren't heated...possibly explaining the need for additional wires and a different harness. Just a guess.

Can anyone confirm if the harnesses are different? If they are, where can I find wiring diagrams so I can splice my 2010 harness onto the 2013 mirror? I would just connect the wires to control the mirror adjustment and power fold, and ignore the heater wires. If this is all too much work, I'll just sell the 2013 mirrors and look for something that will work better.

I cannot confirm it, but I'm pretty sure you won't have any issues with the new mirrors. All websites that sell replacement mirrors list all 07-14 models compatible with their mirrors. Also if you have a Platinum, your mirrors we're definitely heated.

Swapped the mirror today, everything matched up and went smooth. Thanks again

Glad to help. If my mirrors stopped folding, I would loose them in a day lol, they don't fit through drive thru's
