i've read a lot about mass air sensors(MAS), and am wondering what your ideas are on them. if i am getting a cold air intake would i need to change my MAS or does the cold air already come with a modified one.

my brother got 4.10s, a volant intake, hypertech programer, and si/so magnaflow and it was a huge difference from stock even with 35s in his 05 5.4l

Yes, your 2010 5.4L has an electric fan.

Yes it does I would listen to people on this cai. There has been some test done showing they are not better than stock the intake. If I was you I'd go with a custom tune, when I switch exhaust the factory was a straight through design.

man hank ur killing it..do some research on ur truck first. u just seem to be going towards the name brands and shortcuts. know what your getting into and do some research. a majority of the guys here know their stuff.

the volant, ALONE, is good , i did tons of research and even looked into the gotts mod, KN, Afe, air force one. I even tried the gotts for a while but i really liked the response i got with my volant, the sound was awesome too. ive recently gone to stock again tho because of the "rattle" issued with the 5.4 and been planning to take it back to dealer but time has not been my friend lately.

in order for a cai to be GREAT u have to get a custom tune but be ready to drop about 450 bux. 50 dollar chips are a joke and only tend to mess up ur vehicle in the end.
