2010 Ford Raptor in Tuxedo Black (1st day)
Picked up a loaded 2010 metallic black Raptor last night. Has about every option including one I sure didn't want...the graphics package.
Today I removed the graphics and there's lots of graphics ($1075 worth) to take off.
The Raptor's black metallic so the metal heated up pretty well on a breezy day here in SoCal. Started the removal process with my thumbnail and pulled evenly as possible across the width of the graphics sheet (they are, for the most part, big sheets of graphics). Kept pulling slowly and evenly close to the truck's surface making slow and steady progress.
The key is making sure the truck's skin is warm/hot and the graphics are new. If the graphics get time to really bond to the surface it could be a big problem to get it all removed. I had a few small areas that just didn't want to come off. Remaining adhesive residue was insignificant and I removed that with some paste wax and elbow grease.
Removed the front license plate bracket and the factory decal (lower right corner of windshield) and a couple decals on the driver's window.
I'll post pics later when I have time to download them from the camera.
Now on to the next mod...

Great looking ride. Now get rid of those ugly orange reflectors on the mirrors. Your truck looks awesome. Like big cube said, get some off road pictures posted.
