My loving wife manage to take out my left rear tail light on the trash can last night. In trying to find a replacement I notice the left is more expensive than the right. Could anybody tell me why beside the fact that its the one I need.

check out the prices on ebay......take the keys from the wife before she gets the right side.

Not sure which tail light you need but if it's the somewhat standard "chrome" light you may be in luck. Many people have changed theirs out for the more desired HD tails which have a black trim.
Go the market section here on the site, search for 2009 & up and there is a guy that has a pair for sale.... Tommy something.

Thanks for the help. Still wondering why the left side tail light cost more than the right. Think I just going to replace them both with soime LEDs.

Did you try your dealer? When I broke a tailight on my F250 superduty I think it was about $50.00 at the dealer. That was about 8 years ago though.
