Hi all,

I recently received my factory ordered 2010 F150 with the tow mirrors.

I find that they travel out from being fully compressed towards they vehicle by about 1/4" over time. Especially the drivers side most likely from opening and closing the door. Is this normal or should I have the dealer look at replacing them?

I'd have the dealer look at them, mine don't move at all

Mine do the same thing (although, for mine, I'd say it's more like 1/8 of an inch). I just push'em back in every so often.

While mine is just a week old, I have to tug with some effort to extend them and to push them back in

Mine never move unless I pull them out. I would speak to the dealer about them.

Mine are about three weeks old and they do the exact same thing. I was going to ask the dealership to look at them the other day but forgot......Kinda annoys me and kinda doesn't??

I noticed it once after getting a car wash. I'm just planning to watch them. It's a little surprising that they haven't designed some sort of detent to prevent this.
