2010 F150 Blender Door Issue Questions
The other day I noticed while my climate control in my truck was calling for 90 degree air, only my driver's side vents were sending hot air. My passenger vents were sending cold air. It was 27 degrees out so I assume those vents were sending outside air. I have read that the air blender door actuators can go bad. Most of the threads I found on this had the opposite issue, the drivers side went bad.
I also read that if the vents go bad they require the dash to be removed. There's an OK movie on this but still left me with some questions. One of the comments mentioned that for the driver's side that is the case but for the passenger side, you can get away with only removing the seats, console, radio and some of the bracing.
How many damper actuators are there? One for driver's side one for passenger?
Where exactly is the passenger side actuator and what is my shortest path to get to it?
If there are two, do they have same part number?
Does anyone know where I can find an assembly overview of a 2010 F150 FX4 truck with flow through console? This might help me.
