I just replaced my factory speakers with Sony 3-way 5x7's. Much better highs than stock. I have a 10-inch sub-box w/ amp under rear seat. Sounds greart.

BigMike... What was the labor involved in removing the door panels and replacing all the speakers? Also, what sub & amp did you use?

I just replaced the speakers in my 2010 using this link: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/door-p...ow-pics-66477/

Could not believe how easy it was, not a scratch inside and no broken clips!!!

BIGMIKE did you use an inline signal converter or how did you connect the amp. I am looking at doing the same.

I used a inline signal converter from PAC.
Put 8" woofers in a box under the seat. Came out real clean with minimal loss of space.

I got a 2010 F150 5.4 extended cab. I was just wondering what wire you used for your remote wire to hook up your amp. I used the grey/yellow wire for a remote. But I'm having some issues. I was told to use fuse 41 as a remote wire. I'm not sure what color the wire is. I was wondering if anyone could help me out.
