I'm in a 2010 4x4 Platinum SCREW, 6.5ft box, 3.55 rear end. Day to day I am getting about 13.5 MPG commuting to work. I've gotten up to 16 on the highway.

I think that the sound insulation on the Platinum adds enough extra weight to decrease the fuel economy, but the 2.73 rear end you get with the FX4 package will decrease the MPGs as well.

My '09 FX4 'screw, 6.5' bed gets in the 17's . 59 mile round trip commute, rarely able to exceed 60 mph, maybe 6 or so stops in each direction.

I have a 2010 fx4, around town the best i get is around 13.5 to 14mpg. On highway around 16mpg and that doing mostly around 75. Im sure I could get the 17mpg if i stayed around 60mph.

I think that 13-15 is about average in these trucks as long as everything operating correctly.

odometer claims 14.5MPG, but if I do the math freehand, it's less..13.9MPG. Gallons must be slightly bigger in Michigan than where I live. (I am resetting between tanks, if you're wondering)

I've got the extended cab, 4x4, 5.5 bed, 5.4 with 3.55. My driving is mostly highway. I get between 15 and 16 per the dash.
