Default 2010 5.4/4x4 XLT

bought my 2010 XLT about a month ago and have added the V-tec wheels and the 2" leveling kit. love the look and cant wait to save some dough to get some 33" tires. current tires are 275/60-18 and will have to do for know.

truly love this truck, but damn the sound system is horrible do they all sound this bad?!

I actually think mine sounds really good for stock and I like to think of myself as a bit of an audiophile. Oh and go easy on the deer your neighbours may not like all that saving!! LOL!!

Thanks for the compliments, I guess I should have used the correct word..huh. For the second question, I'm not sure of the brand ordered it from ebay. Its a nice 2" piece, finished very well with all good hardware. Paid 75 bills shipped.

will you fit in a 7ft garage door with the 2in lift?? Winters in the midwest are no fun! The garage is sure nice when it is dumping snow!!

If you don't have the "premium" sound system I think the ford factory speakers are very very mediocre. Also the factory crossovers do not work very well and they way the designed the sound imaging I feel like they were high when they did it. I am solving this problem with a nice line converter some new speakers all around a couple subs and two amplifiers. Nothing too special but it will give me more higher quality sound while still preserving the sync system and steering wheel controls.

I'd love to get mine lifted but the thought of trying to fit in a public parking garage haunts. Went to a Pirate game a couple of weeks ago (not sure why) and I barely cleared the concrete deck supports. My wife had to hold my antenna down the whole time.

Have had zero problems parking in garage. I too agree with the crossover settings they are really creating some horrible slopes that severely distort. I replaced the oem spkrs with some pioneers and got the same result, which means the head unit its selt is the problem. I too will use amps to correct the problem.
