Hi all. I have a 2009 F150 XLT. About 4 months ago i had the wrench come up on the info center. It went into limp mode. Took it into the Ford dealer. They said it was something in the throttle. they fixed it and i picked the truck up. Since i picked it up it has a bad hesitation. Driving down the freeway doing 55 and i hit the gas and pull out left to pass i can count one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three then the truck downshifts and takes off. I took it to the dealer last week. After two hours they call me and say there is nothing showing up in the scan so there is nothing wrong with it. I don't recall the hesitation prior to the limp mode. Does anyone else have the hesitation? Thanks all.

I have experienced this on occasion, sometimes I'll stomp on it and it has to think about it for a few seconds before it goes, sometimes accompanied by a nasty THUNK! Usually its when I've been going at a constant speed for a little while, so the tranny must have shifted into a high gear and stayed there, then it gets confused for a minute when it has to downshift.
