Default 2006 rims to a 2011

Would a set of 17" rims off a 2006 f150 fit on a new 2011 SCREW?

I can get a good deal on these and place winter tires on them for this year. TIA

Are you planning to use TMPS sensors in your wheels?

If so, this has been discussed ad nauseum already... its worth doing a search for all the details.

Otherwise, a set of 17" wheels should provide plenty of snow tire options.

There are many tire size calculators out there as well, if you're interested in trying to find a similar tire + wheel size combo.

Good luck,
-Matt

Do I need the TMPS sensors? If I do can I purchase them seperatly and have them installed in the rims?

YES...pull them out of the other wheels and install on the old wheels...they are in your valve stems.

I got a set of new fomoco tpms sensors off of ebay for my new wheels. $100 bucks. They work awesome. Left the factory sensors in my factory wheels for the snow.

If you don't mind the ding dong going off once every time you start your truck and the TPS indicator light staying on you don't need tire pressure sensors.

I found my extra set of tire pressure sensors (9L3Z-189-A) for $69 on ebay about a month ago.
