Default Will it work? Sync/Android

Truck will be here soon (I hope) and I'm ready to upgrade my cellphone. I'm leaning towards the Moto Droid X2 and I'm looking for info on any possible compatability issues with X2 and Sync, or any Android phone.
Thanks for your help.

I've never had any issues with Android phones (Mytouch4G, G1, Vibrant) and Sync. You might want to check over at XDA forums and see if anyone has had an issue with it.

I have a Samsung Mesmerize with US Cellular. It is also known as the Samsung i500 and it has been upgraded to Android 2.2. It works OK when you get in the truck for the first time of the day but it never seems to disconnect the bluetooth connection when you get out, then it never reconnects properly. I have to shut off bluetooth to get it to disconnect, then it works again...once.
I had a WinMo 6.5 phone before and it was flawless. I also have a Samsung SCH-R630 Messager phone and it works perfect too.
The glitch seems to be within Android itself, not with SYNC. YMMV.
I don't use that phone in the truck enough to worry about fixing it.

I have a Droid 2 Global and it works as well as anything, I suppose. Bluetooth with Sync is sketchy no matter what. Occasionally the phone, the truck or both needs to be rebooted. However, when it's working right (85% of the time, I'd say) it's pretty good. Nice having the truck read incoming text messages to me while driving.

No problems with my wife's Droid X or my Droid 2 so far. At least we have not run into any issues yet.

I'll try deleting and repairing my phone and see if it helps.

I have an older Android phone (HTC Droid Eris) and it works fine with Sync.
