Default 2009 bread pan bumper inserts?

Anyone have an easy way to remove those ugly bread pan inserts in front bumper of my 2009?Other than brut force or bumper removal.I am going to make a nice insert to replace these but would like to save the originals if possible. Thanks for any info.

If you dont want the tabs to break you gotta do it slow and carefully even then theres no guarantee they wont break i broke a tab off each of them when i had to take them off to trim them to install my light bar

Squeeze the sides of the tabs from the backside.

Pretty easy, I used the brut force method you were staying away from with a bit of pressure on the posts/tabs on the backside and they came right out with no damage.
