RFID Tags?
Has anyone got the RFID tagging on their new '09s?
I've heard about it all over the place for putting tags on your tools and the computer in the truck tracking where they all are, but i've not seen it or heard feedback from someone other than a biased editor in a magazine/web article

My parents actually wrote an article on that ( RFID in particular ) and I helped proofread it and basically, ( just my opinion ) and seems that folks are too overblown concerned about it. I see the technology and it's purpose ( Look how it transformed Walmart's logistical supply chain and speed they ship stuff ) and how it could be twisted easily in wrong hands but then again, so can everything else. Sides, you might know what's in my house or garage ( theoretically ) but you still gotta come inside to get it. :-)

No. I mean its use to primarily keep track of tools and equipment on a job site. If you've ever been on or worked on a major construction project, you'll know what chaos it can be at times and apparently the '09 have an option where you can put tags on your tools and the truck will locate them using RFID

Im guessing the rfid tags tie into that.

I just saw that page on the FordWorks page of their website.
They have some nice stuff going in if your willing to pay. I wonder if they're gonna do it with more than just DeWalt. Any contractor worth his salt knows there are much better and cheaper manufacturers than DeWalt. We have a DeWalt sawzaw and thats only because we got it at a garage sale for $15
