Default steering wheel rattle question

I have the same "rattle" in my 2010 that most people have. Is this a safety issue or is it merely annoying but safe? I've lived with it this long and don't like going to the dealer unless I really have to. I just want to make sure it isn't something I need to be concerned with.

It's basically a bump you feel when going over rough terrain such as a rough road or speed bumps.

Hey segen77,

How many miles do you have on your rig? I'll see how I can help with that rattle.

If you don't have rattles and clanks in your steering, your probably not driving a F-150.

If your under warranty Ford will either not find anything or say it's normal.

If your NOT under warranty Ford will find problems and be glad to replace every part at your expense.

Ha. You know that's right! I just need to know if it's a safety issue of not. I can deal with it if it's not.

Hey segen77,

Shoot me a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, and dealership information; I'll loop in your regional customer service manager to help keep the noise down.
