2009-2010 F-150 Steering Wheel Vs 2011-2012
I have offered a member on ebay and hopefully I get the steering wheel but I have an 06' Ford F-150 XLT and I want to put modern 2009+ Interior but I want to know what's the difference and the same about the 2009-2010 Vs 2011-2012 Steering Wheel and this is what it looks like
One more thing, can I add the Steering Controls like this pic
Thanks, I really appreciate and please no negative comments like why not keep your same steering wheel and stuff like that

Again I say.....get a new truck if you want to do this stuff. I can pretty much guarantee that it probably won't be a direct fit. If you're planning on doing the entire interior.....you'll spend ridiculous amounts of money on stuff that won't fit. I wouldn't push playing with airbags either.

In addition, the entire interior is designed and built completely different anyways. The dash is set higher and flatter, the a-pillars are a different shape and size, and mount differently. The headliner is made to fit to the different pillar shapes, (which wouldn't fit due to the extra 6 inches), the b-pillars are not as tall, the c-pillars are larger and differently shaped, the door panels and dashboard all rely on each other to fit properly. The shape of the pillars, the way they fit, the mounting points of the dash and panels....it may look like it bolts up on the face of it, but deep down there is some serious fabricating to do if you want to do it....I'd say it's so impossibly difficult and not worth it that you might as well either forget it or get a good second hand 09, bud.
Not to be negative of course...it's just the facts. As far as the steering wheel goes...it may have a spitting chance of being able to fit....but you have to account for the airbag and the steering wheel controls won't plug harness to harness like you'd expect.
