Has anyone tried installing the 04-08 center console in the 09+ trucks?

I've read that it's not a direct fit but would it be possible? 09+ consoles appear to be slim to none these days. I've only seen 1 one ebay and he wants over $450 for it

Yes it can be done. This is how I did it. I used a console that had the shifter in it. I remove the flow thru tubing. I trimmed off the front tabs so as to have a clean look. The rear fasteners on the console will line up with the 09-12 mounting bracket. You will have to do some trimming on the console bottom in order for the console to fit. I have mine fastened with the rear 2 fasteners only. Once you tighten them the console is very secure. I did have to rewire the 12v outlet as the plugs are not the same. There is about 2" of clearance between the console and dash. I use the hole where the shifter was to carry a small oxygen bottle. I did find a plastic ice cream container that fits the oval hole perfectly. The front of the console is open but you can't tell it by looking.

Looks good...I'd probably end up doing some ABS plastic frames and extend it out to meet the dash...although that does look pretty good as is.

The non-flow-through 11th gen console is identical to the current gens. Even the jumpseat was the same up to 2011.
