Default 2 tone mock up opinions please

so back a while ago I purchased a couple rolls of dark blue metalic perle vinyl.
I wanted to wrap the hardest, most complex part first, so I wrapped my front bumper.
Holding the roll up to the truck (Dark blue metalic paint code DX) the vinyl was an almost perfect match, but once applied, you can see it's way off, so now, I'm contemplating actually wrapping the lower portion for a 2 tone look.

I have attached a very crude photoshop mock up...... what do you all think? should I do it?

actual truck with vinyl wrapped bumper.

pre-school quality photoshop mock up lol

Should you do it, no. That blue wrap looks closer to Flame Blue and not Blue Jeans blue.

Two tone color scheme with two blues does not work nor does any color combo using same color tones.
Blue/Gold, Blue/Silver or Blue/close interior color match works.

My thoughts... No.. However I'm not the one driving it. If you like it -go for it.
My dislike comes from the fact that the blues are too different and, in my opinion, are not complementary but rather clash.

I would not do it. It looks to "clash-y" to me. Those colors just don't mix well imho. However, like stated above, it is your truck. You're the one who has to drive it. So do what you want. But I would not do it.

I guess the 1990 look is retro now that it is 25 years ago, maybe even classic!

I think if the colours were reversed wouldn't look bad

Lighter on top darker on bottom ..

looks like gas station *** blasting after taco bell dude.

many two-tones look good, but not that. black or dark gray on the bottom would be way better.
