2 piece spark plugs???
I was just watching a show, Truck U and they mentioned that Ford Truck motors use 2 piece spark plugs! I had never heard this but from what they were saying, over time due to heat and cooling they will contract and expaned. This will allow carbon build up and make it increadably difficult to get the plugs out over time. Basically they were saying that they will break and then you will need to take it to a shop to get it out or carbon will drop into the cylinder. They suggested that the sooner you get the stock plugs out of the motor the better.
So my question is, is this true? And if so, what plugs are you all using?
Thanks in advance

yeah I started watching the show, and after about a month I was over it... horrible TV personalities... and the stuff they talk about is kinda stupid, lol
Matt Steele is a cool guy and all; I've met him in person at a Truck's Gone Wild event here in Lakeland Florida, but he's no TV actor

Plug problems were only from 04' to early 07'. They make special tools to extract the plug if it breaks.

I bet the guy who came up with the two piece plug was fired pretty quickly for his genius discovery. Great idea! Why on earth would you make something in two pieces when that object is going to have rotational torque applied to it? That is like a two piece wood screw, i think i will go with the screw that is one solid piece.
