Default 2" Leveling Kits, 18" Wheels, and Tire Sizes!

I've spent a couple of hours searching with mediocre results. I apologize if the subject is dated, I have a slightly unique request though.

I'm looking at adding a 2" leveling kit to the front, and increasing tire size. The current tires - 275/65/18 - are 32" tires. I love the look of 35" tires, and I can get that by going to a 285/75/18. I've seen people do this, but my impression is that it's not recommended either due to potential rubbing issues or other problems. It seems most people recommend 33" tires, but to my eyes this is too small for a leveled truck (it doesn't fill out the wheel well as well as I'd like).

So, I've been looking for tires at about 34", and I'm not finding anything. 275/75/18 and 285/70/18 would both be pretty close, but I'm not having alot of luck finding these two tire sizes online. I've googled the size and gotten results, but the tire outlet websites and manufacturers' sites don't seem to supply these sizes.

So, anybody have luck finding these sizes? Alternatively, if you have installed a 2" leveling kit and 285/75/18 tires, are they working for you?

Thanks!

Nitto Terra Grappler 295/70/18 - $238 - Discount Tire Direct

I have had mine for a week now. I have a 3" kit under my truck, and they fit without rubbing. I could have fit 37's under it, provided I could have found some 37x11.50's.

golfguy1ar,

I have tried looking for that size at differant tire web sites but for some reason they keep coming back that the 295/70/18 is not a correct size. Am I missing somthing cause I think those tires that you have look great.

Very nice.
Would you say a 33" would go on that rim nicely. I have the same rims, 325/60/18

NO lift?
Thanks

325/60/18's will fit the rims fine, but I think they would rub without a lift.

325/60/18 are 12.8" wide and 33.4" tall.

What all is involved with the 3"lift? How long it take to install? Front and rear?
