2.5 or 3"

My opinion is to do some research and see what else you may need if you plan to level that high. Balljoint wear, etc. Also any plans for the rear or do you like the saggy *** look? Rear block or AAL to raise the rear? Do you tow? Do you offroad? Are you going to upgrade tires? I have 34" tires on a 2" level with AAL and I think the tires look small. If you go 3" you tires will look like rubberbands around those rims.
just my opinion but that is what you asked for...

If you want just level, maybe look into just 1.5". I went that route with my 2011 XLT and it put it near perfect (visually anyhow). I used the Bilstein 5100's

Go with a 2.5". If you keep the wheels you have now, you will be able to fit 35's, maybe with minor trimming. If you go to a -12 rim, you will have to stick with the 33's unless you plan on getting pretty aggressive with the trimming. I had 33's with a 2.5" level and -12's, and just required trimming of the plastic valance, and the inner fender flare. davidschlot had 35's with a 2.5" level and -12's and he had to do a lot more trimming.
