Anyone know of a Dealer in the Vancouver, BC area that will reprogram my 14 to move my DRL from my Head lights to my Parking lights? I tried to get it done at the dealer where I purchased my truck and they refused to do it. Even when I gave them a very simple how-to... step by step procedure on how it's done. Their reply to me was that, it's against the law to have DRL on the parking lights. Which also means they don't know what they're talking about or there's a lot 2013-14 F150's with HID that are illegally on the road. I find it absolutely amazing how difficult it is to get this simple procedure done!!!!

Looks like I found a Dealer in the Metro Vancouver area (finally!) that'll program my DRL from the Headlights to the Parking Lights. Appointment set for this Thursday. Hopefully it goes as simple as the instructions that I'll give them.

In most Canadian vehicles without HIDs, it is the high beam that comes on for DRL, at much reduced intensity (something like 40%, if I recall). That way, the low beam bulb does not burn out because it's always on (or low-beam filament, on a single bulb system). On 4 bulb systems, with low-beam HIDs, the high beam is usually not HID and that is the DRL.

Have we ever heard from Ford Service on here about this? It would be nice to have something official from them for these dealerships.

Where did you get it done? What did they use to connect to the truck?

Anyone in the San Antonio area know someone at a dealership that knows how to turn on the DRLs? I called my dealership and they were completely clueless on how to enable it.
