I removed mine on my 3.7 and there was no difference. So I put it back on. Just wasted $$$$$$$ .

(gain) A raspy exhaust tone at WOT.
Since the resonated intermediate pipe is straight-thru ...there are no HP | MPG gains.

I did it and am happy, it isn't a huge difference but it's enough and the price wasn't bad. At normal acceleration you can actually hear the truck. Full throttle isn't bad, with windows down you can hear a bit of rasp. At cruising speeds you only hear wind/tire noise. If you accelerate at speed (ie adding a few mph with cruise control) you hear a bit of exhaust and then it disappears again.
No performance difference, just a bit of sound. Before this thing sounded more like a sewing machine than a truck. Now it's good enough for the few dollars it cost.

I left my resonator on and deleted the muffler. That takes a little weight off and it sounds bad *****. My buddy who owns a shop could not believe the difference it made in attitude. I got what people spend $500-$700 on with just some stainless steel straight pipe and some welding.
He tried it on a gm and it sounded like crap. Seems to work great on the f150 5.0.

Took my resonator off, installed a corsa delete kit, drove a few miles and took it off.
Only difference is the rasp like every one else said.
I was hoping for a slightly deeper stock tone but that wasn't accomplished by removing the resonator
