Default 1.5 in level with 295\70\18 can it be done

Can I run 295\70\18s with a 1.5 inch level? I noticed everyone with that size tire is running a 2.5 inch level not many with a 1.5

Just don't want to waste time mounting them if they don't fit.

You'd be close with the 1.5" level. I'm running a 2" level with my factory wheels and 295/70r18 trail grapplers and I don't rub, but if I was much lower it would probably rub.

Dang there's no tire size between my current 275/70 and the 295/70 to fill up my wheel well more

In the wheel/tire fitment thread it says the 295/70/18 fits stock 4x4 with no level and no rubbing.

Here are 295/65/18 w/ 1.5" level (5100's). 295/65/18 are 33.1". 295/70/18 are 34.26". It would be close, but I'm thinking it would clear. It will also depend on the wheel. These are 18x9 +20.
