Default Repair Rhino Liner

I bought my truck used and it came with the sprayed on Rhino Liner. I was helping a buddy move and I guess one of the pieces of furniture gouged the liner (about the size of my pinky, a little smaller) on the inside of the tailgate. I wasn't sure if I could just buy a can of spray on liner or what.
I called the place that performed the install, but the warranty doesn't transfer to a new owner, so I'm out of luck there.

Most stuff I find on Google is for large patch jobs (where a 5th wheel was removed).
What do you suggest? Have you ever had to repair a rhino liner before?

Edit: pics of scratches (found two more when I went to take pics) http://imgur.com/a/kiklS

What brand of liner?

Can you take a pic of the damage?

Those scratches can easily be fixed. It would probably take the dealer 10 mins.

Basically all they have to do is take the chemicals and mix them up in a dixie cup and apply it with a popcicle stick. That is how you patch small scratches. Thats how we used to do it and they turn out decent.

If I were you I would drive down to the dealer and talk to them. Show them the scratches and see what they would charge.

Seeing as how they charged $120+ just to activate my remote start (which I installed), which I had to tell them how to do... I'm sure it won't be cheap.

+1
Go to Rhino Liner dealer and just pay a little bit. At least that way the color and pattern matches, not to mention the same chemical make up of the product.

Years ago I used to spray GatorHyde Bedliners. It is a hot applied spray 2 parts Isocyanite very similar to Line-X. We had a product you would apply to the damaged area, it softened the area and made it very sticky so new hot applied material would adhere to the damaged area. You would feather the gun trigger to apply the patch. Pain in the neck because you have to cover the whole truck and bed other than where the patch is going. But, it can be done.

Yikes.

Figure out what brand the liner is and find somewhere else to take it.
