Default Help with brake booster hose

Is there supposed to be a vacuum hose on the brake booster for a 2wd truck? I know that the 4wd trucks there would be a line going to the IWE from this nipple.

I can feel vacuum if I put my finger over it when the truck is running. Should this be capped off?

This is from a 2013 manual. It looks like you're missing the rubber cap.

That’s what I assumed. Thanks for a quick reply.

I wonder if this would cause the p2098 code I’m getting.
