Im just seeing what you guys that have now owned the 09s, like and dislike about some of the features on yours. Im not talking styling or anything, but some of the goods and bads about functionallity. You know stuff like the side steps, traction control, safety features, gas mileage, handling, etc etc.

Cole...not really going to help you here...but I REALLY DISLIKE the fact that I ordered my 2009 Platinum back on Feburary 16th and it STILL HASN'T ARRIVED The wait is killing me and now that CA State sales tax is increasing 1% as of 4/1/2009 it could potentially cost me another $425.00....grrrrr. Darn thing was built 12 days ago and has been sitting outside the plant ever since waiting to be loaded (via rail) to be shipped...same story as my 2007 Shelby GT 500....took 21 days to be shipped from MI to CA....

I've had my 09' 4x2 XLT Screw for a few weeks now. Power is very smooth. Trailer towing is by far the best I've ever experienced for a truck this size. Interior comfort is very good. The rear seat area is huge and the flat rear floor is fantastic. Daily driving is a real pleasure with a smooth ride yet responsive steering and suspension.
My (very minor) gripes... I have the trailer tow mirrors and wish they had power fold. The rear doors should have door sill protectors like the fronts. I wish the travel computer/info center had a steering wheel mounted control button.

That would irritate me too. We dont typically order vehicles, I guess unless they want 0 miles on it. We usually do a dealer trade if we dont have the package a person wants. When ordering right off the line though, Im sure it is going to take awhile. Isnt she worth waiting for though?!?!

I like the interior, the ride, the Sony Sound system, the build quality and the looks. I wish it ran a 12 second quarter mile and got 42 miles a gallon, other than that , I like everything.

I've had my Platinum for about 2 weeks now (900 miles) and this is my first F150... my initial review of the creature comforts:
- Navigation / Sync system is top notch; I've had the navigation systems from Honda, Nissan, and GM - the F150 is by far the best OEM system I've had.
- I really like the power fold side view mirrors - great feature when parking in tight spots;
- It took me a while to get used to the folding running board, but I now like it - this is a neat gadget.
- I wish they had a telescoping steering wheel; This cab is BIG - I'm 6'-4" and this is the first vehicle that I've not had to push the seat all the way back. However, it seems when the seat is adjusted properly for my legs that the steering wheel needs to be a bit closer.
- While the acceleration is smooth, I'm a bit disappointed in the "out of the hole" power; high end ride is very quiet.
- Remote start is a new feature for me and very convenient - would recommend it.
