The door handle spring that provides return tension on the door handle let go in my buddy's truck and I just found out about this recall:

I called the dealer and they said they have no history of any active recalls on this vehicle(checked with vin).Do you think this could still apply?

I got the same thing w mine but was like it when I bought it. But it isn't all the way out a it still opens n closes just kinda gives a little so I may need to do recall too. I'll see what ppl say.

Post the vin# I can run it thru oasis to see about recalls.
