I am very interested in this but I gotta be honest, if SCT has not fixed the "5.0 cooling fans on constantly" problem it's a waste of that great price of $150 until I spend MORE $$$ for custom tunes.

can you confirm that this issue is fixed with the canned tunes of the 7015?

The tunes themselves are gonna be the same between the SF3 and X4 as of right now since a tune literally is just a computer file, and gonna work the same regardless of which model tuner you use to upload the tune to the truck.

SCT is working on some firmware updates to be rolled out around same time as the X4 release ( namely like support for the 14 year models ) and a few other things but whether that update will contain a update for the 5.0 cooling fans I do not know.

Got ahold of SCT yesterday and my order of X4 tuners should be arriving Thursday or Fri, so everybody who has done a pre-order, should expect tracking Fri or Sat by latest. :-)

I'm hoping it gets here before Saturday at noon. lol. Got me a 1/4 mile test and tune date with the truck. Haha. If not, I suppose I can wait another week.

Happy to say the SCT X4 #7015 are now IN STOCK and shipping! Everybody who did the pre orders should have tracking on their X4 and of those who sent in their used 3015 SF3 units which has been received so far, refunds have been sent out.
