Ford part # DL3Z-18808-A, with 4 door speakers. Kicker Upgrade

When installed do the Factory tweeters in the pillars still work? 2013/2014 F150 crewcab.

I am asking because the kicker system doesn't show new ones and I wanted to make sure the factory ones will still work.

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

Disregard the PM I sent you earlier. I just spoke with Kicker and they mentioned the A-pillar speakers will/should be disconnected as the new door speakers are a 2-way design.

I'm pretty sure I've seen one, but I can't locate it. If memory serves, it's one manual for several kits.

What offers or deals do you have for this new year? I have the 4.2 my ford radio, but when a suitable aftermarket option is available, I will replace that. Will the kicker combo and speakers be able to work well with an aftermarket radio? This would be going to 78109.

Hello,

This would be the one specific to your Truck http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....ay-p-1821.html in terms of a forum discount I think we can do free shipping for you.

Since all the signals originate from the head unit yes an aftermarket radio would be compatible but it is best to plan out your audio system for the long term and research what else besides the radio would be required.

I hope that makes sense

Let me know if you have any questions

I've decided it's about time to upgrade the sound in my Raptor. I'm interested in the DL3Z-18808-A...sending a PM to you. Thanks!
