So what is the difference between the SCab and SCrew versions? Just the size and location of the sub? Are the mount points different? Wiring, speakers, and DSP are all the same?
I have a '14 Raptor SCab with the 801A package so 8" screen and Sony system. The stock Sony sub is currently on the passenger side. If the SCab upgrade relocates the factory sub to the driver side, why can't I just buy the SCrew version to keep the sub in the factory spot as well as not having to drill any new holes into the bottom of my truck? It seems pretty stupid to buy the SCab version if the SCrew version will work in my truck without having to cut into anything.

You have a good point but the thought is null because either one cannot be used with Sony audio sub woofer system according to Ford.

A few people were saying you could make the entire "SoundStage" work with the Sony system but it requires cutting the stock connectors off and splicing the Kicker connectors onto the stock wiring. Seeing as the only thing that sucks in this truck is the pitiful sub, I ordered the SCab "SubStage" as I really don't want to do much modification and cutting into the bottom of my truck already angers me but if I get more bass, I suppose I can sacrifice a little if it's just four wires and plug and play.

Yeah, the more and more I've read from various F150 forums, the only option for those with the full Sony system is just the "SubStage" upgrade.
