Subwoofer wire harness
I was curious if anyone knows whether the supplied harness from Kicker plugs into a two-pin connecter for the old Sony sub or if its always meant to splice into the speaker wire? The directions seem ambiguous (to me anyways), and I cannot find an existing two-pin from the old Sony harness anywhere near the kick panel near the fuse box. '11 Screw Lariat btw. I'm at a crossroads as to splice or keep searching for the existing harness. If anyone has experience in this, please help. I'd like to finish this up while the weather is cooperating here in Alaska and I can bear to stand outside for the required amount of time

Was feeling lazy and went to a local shop for the install for the kicher sub install on my Sony system. They spliced into to the rear speakers instead of the front passenger. Had to turn the bass down to -2 and treble almost all the way up and mid on +2. With bass turned down can really crank up the system with lack of distortion and the bass still hits pretty hard. Heck might even turn down the bass to -3.
Is there any issue with slicing into the back speakers instead of the front right?

So I installed the kicker sub. Now my WeatherTech rear mat doesn't fit. I tried cutting it but that turned out terrible. Anyone else have this dilemma?

Thank you. Mine didn't come with instructions. I read through these threads a few times but instructions with pictures help. Now it just has to warm up before I put in in.
