The low $300's possible with this deal offsets any nasty shipping/brokerage fees that might get tacked on on our side of the line.
Hey man. What ever happened to your experiment with the homemade traction bars? I was following that one closely for a while.

Just curious.

I'm fussy about things and for a long term fix the caltrac traction bars would be a pain to keep quiet on anything other than smooth pavement. Other than long term noise and junk hanging down getting rusty in winter they work extremely well if engineered right for suspension travel of a truck to avoid any spring bind.

Wow, for all the interest this had, people sure aren't committing very quickly.

Usually the biggest critics and "if X happens, I'll buy one" people are full of hot air.

FWIW-- I'm planning on buying one but I'm currently working with the dealer to see what they can do about my vibration. If I don't have any good answers before the group buy ends I'll just throw my hat in and buy one of these.

Apparently there is only one set in Canada, must be that set in Ontario!

Calgary Quote #1: $499
Calgary Quote #2: $485 + "shop supplies"

If we get to 20 sets this group buy will save me $100 including shipping to Canada.

I'm going on a 1900 km trip with the trailer from April 6-16.
Roadmaster, I will commit to the group buy upon my return if I am dissatisfied with my experience.

Count me in. I am in with PM. I don't have a shudder but I am positive this is something that will definitely help with pulling the 34 ft travel trailer!!

I'm in. Put my name on a set. I'll call you guys next week with the rest of my info! I don't have the shudder problem either,"that I've noticed" (axle wrap or anything but I've been easy on it so far since it's less than 800 miles), but I do plan to modify it and step up the power till I induce it!

With all the pros of this system it's a no-brainer at this price! Thanks for the great deal guys!
