All of us at Solo Performance are proud to announce and introduce two outstanding exhaust kits for the Ford F150 5.0L V8 Pick Up. Both of these exhaust kits have that beautiful V8 growl and sound deep, mean, and aggressive while being non-invasive inside the cabin. The two kits that we developed are a Dual 3” and a Single 4”. Both kits make your 2011–2012 5.0L F150 “sound like it should have from the factory” with a deep American muscle tone without the drone. This is a 4” mandrel bent stainless steel converter back exhaust kit. It has a deep, bassy, raw American muscle sound that is sure to please the truck enthusiast. With the constraints of the factory converter, the system has to start off at 3” and then quickly turns into the 4” free flow which really opens up your V8 F150.
We have incorporated our Solo J-Pipe in the front section. The J-pipe takes out the drone and trouble RPM ranges and leaves you with the deep muscular sound that this truck is capable of producing. This is all capped off with a T304 stainless steel polished 4 ˝” rolled edge exhaust tip.
This deep performance tone quiets down amazingly well on the highway. At cruise speeds it’s almost as quiet as the stock exhaust.

Both of these kits have an incredible deep, bassy exhaust note that makes your 5.0L V8 F150 sound like the truck it was meant to be. While both systems are deep and bassy, the 4” is a bit deeper. Both the 4” single and the 3” Dual systems sound levels off to a very quiet note at cruise on the highway. Both systems are non-invasive in the cabin, but the 4” single system is more invasive than the dual. The dual exhaust system would be the better system to have for wife/kid approval, while the 4” single system would be tailored to the “enthusiast that wants a louder truck.”

That sweet looking machine in the video is my truck. I had both systems on the truck but settled on the Mach-X Dual system which has been installed since early March. If anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to shoot me a message and I'll try to offer as much help as I can. I don't have a lot of input with regards to long-term use of the 4" single system, but I'll try to be as helpful as I can.
Again, I'm not affiliated with Solo and I don't get a cut of their $$$ (though I can be bought for VERY little if either Steve or Jeff is interested) but for what it's worth, I can say that if you're thinking about pulling the trigger on an exhaust system, this is a great deal on a great package from a very helpful and accessible company. Either of these systems definitely add a head turning factor to your ride; couldn't be happier.

Ok so I was the first person to take the plunge and buy this system for my 2011 XLT 5.0L supercab. Let me tell you it was the best decision I have made since purchasing the truck. It sounded good in the video but that does it no justice at all. I should also say that I have researched exhaust systems for my truck since I bought it last September and this was the first one that I liked both the sound and price. It was installed in under an hour and let me tell you it sounds incredible!! The sound of my system has my friend jealous compared to his 2010 Ram Hemi rcsb with no mufflers (Mufflex muffler delete system)!! Just as loud and deep but way more refined. Plus the 4" pipes just look plain bad *****!! Thanks Solo for taking the time to engineer a system for the 5.0l engine!!
