You don't need to get me an exact number or anything. I was just curious.
Can you take a picture of how they look at night. Myself and others on this board would surely like to see how they look installed vs. stock.
If you could take pictures of two F-150's side by side, one with stock taillights and one with your taillights, it would allow people to get a side by side comparison, or if you only have access to one F-150, you could leave the LH Side Taillight stock and put your taillight in the RH Side and get a decent comparison.
Hi Josh - Don't have a second F150, but I never thought to grab nite pics....I was at the customer's house last night working on his HID and noticed how cool the tails look at night. He's going outta town today (hence the need to get the HID working) so I'll get some pics next week.
Josh - I just picked up a white 2009 S-Crew from the auction today and will have it in the shop by Monday. Once I get it in and cleaned up, I'll put on a set of chrome LED tail lights on it....take day and nite pics and post them for ya'all to see. I'm gonna put a full billet grille on it - one of my suppliers offers the upper and lower billet grilles for a great price. I wanna see how easy it is to install since they say you have to cut a lot of the factory grille shell. I'll keep you posted on that too.
Josh - this is what I know about the truck from the auction:
Its a 2009 SCrew XLT white with 30k miles. My guy picked it up for $20,400 which includes auction fees (Fontana auction) and what my guy charges us for his time. I haven't seen the truck yet - I'll have it Sunday when I go pick it up from my guy. It's a rental coming from Enterprise. Enterprise is unloading its fleet of 2009's to clear their lot for 2011's. There were a couple other Enterprise trucks there too....I chose this white one since its a good color for an all-purpose truck. Once I get it in the shop and clean it up, I'm gonna put a billet grille on it, projector headlights and HID headlight bulbs, LED tail light lenses and stainless steel tube steps on it....then put it up for sale. If I can sell this rig for a decent price, I'll keep buying them, fix them up and resell them. I may put my SCrew up for sale too and see which one sells first...and keep the one that doesn't sell.
I do want to see what I can do to upgrade the factory stereo for a minimal price. I'll read thru some of the posts on here and see what I can do.
