Being able to see the front bumper would come in handy in tight spaces. That is pretty much all I wanted it for.

Default Finally 2013 F-series and Raptor front and rear camera support! Unleashed!

In a few short days we will have a new version of the MyTouch Lockpick, which unlocks your FordTouch navigation in a way that we have been waiting for. Here are a few highlights:

1. Override all the factory locks - that is, anything that is locked while in motion like address entry into the navigation.
2. Install a rear camera and have it come on automatically in reverse or control it at any time.
3. Install a front camera and have it come on automatically below a certain speed or turn it on manually at any time.
4. Control your factory rear camera at any time (if equipped).
5. Install side cameras.
6. Install a towing camera as an additional rear camera that comes on when you go to reverse automatically.
7. Plus A/V inputs and features!

All this is plug and play so no cutting of wires!

We bundle this lockpick with our popular front and rear camera kits so check out our site for more information.

Looking to add a front camera to a 2013 F150 FX2. With the lockpick, will the video display on the Nav screen or the 4" dash screen like the Raptor?

So this will be like other products out there that plug in the back of the Nav unit? I am looking for the ability to be able to play DVD/Podcasts from phone while driving for passengers. Also be able to see my boat while towing down the freeway and the possibility to add a front facing camera. What do I need to make this happen?

The front camera would be nice for when I want to pull right up to the end of a parking spot.

It says that the front camera will come on under a certain speed, but would that mean every time I come to a stop light or am stuck in traffic that the front camera is going to click on and off?

I understand that you can manually turn the front camera on, but it sounded like it was buried under a few menus.

Glad to hear the radio update has been hacked!

It will display the camera on the navigation screen.

Thanks!

You have two options: You can enable the auto-on feature where it will come on under a certain speed (defined in the menu), or you can disable that feature and manually turn it on when you want it.

Thanks,

I have an aftermarket Kenwood Nav unit. Will this camera work with this HU?

Our rear camera, CS-FTR, will work great with your Kenwood. If you want to connect both a front and rear camera you will need to address a couple of issues: 1. your navi unit probably only has one RCA camera input and it's designed for backup camera. That means, it only gets activated in reverse. 2. Since you only have one input a front camera is not an option as it comes configured by Kenwood.

The good news is that we can rig a switch box to overcome the limitations of your Kenwood. The box would have provisions for up to four cameras, each could be triggered manually with a switch or automatically using a trigger wire. The front could not be automatically triggered though unless you can come up with some kind of speed sensing relay.

Contact me if you would like to give this a try and I can also send you photos of what the switch looks like. If you just want a rear camera then you would be all set with buying our CS-FTR series camera right off the shelf as it would be plug and play with your Kenwood.

BTW... If you would like to email me please use the contact us link on our website as you will get a faster response and I can attach the photos to an email.

Thanks,
Chris
