Default Closeout Sale on Raptor Front Cameras!

We are running a closeout sale on our OE fit Raptor front camera kit - the part number is CS-FRAP. Forum members will get an additional $30 off by entering F150FORUM in the coupon code, which brings the price for the complete kit down to $249!! Don't miss out on this because the coupon is only good for the last 10 kits on the shelf. This kit is being replaced by CS-FRAPb, which has guidelines in the display but has a higher price tag of $329. If you don't need the guidelines take advantage of this sale and save some bucks! This kit uses the OEM Ford bracket system so it will look and fit like it came from the factory. Bundle it with a navigation Lockpick and you will be able to activate your cameras any time you want!

Visit our website for more information - www.camera-source.com or go direct to the Raptor kit by clicking ON THIS LINK.

I found this on their site. I could use one with my 2011 Plat Screw.

Default Looks awesome but $500+ is a bit much.

Wish it were cheaper. That's a lot of bread for a camera.

why would you want a camera on the FRONT of your truck? isn't that why we have eyes? I mean really!

It is an expensive endeavor. Keep in mind that the above link points to a kit that includes a lockpick interface, which is about equal in price to the camera. The Lockpick allows you to connect the camera directly to your navigation screen and control it whenever you like. The device also allows you to override the navigation unit functions that are locked while you are in motion such as address input. How frustrating is it when you have a passenger that can enter an address in your navigation but you have to stop before it will let you input your destination? Not with the lockpick! A simple push of a button on your steering wheel control will unlock it while rolling. Also, hold down the voice button on your steering wheel and turns on the rear camera anytime, press it one more time and it toggles to the front cam! It's pretty slick! It will also turn on your front cam automatically below a certain speed if you like.

So you can see there is a bit more value than just a simple camera. The camera alone is $289, which is still not chump change but you really get what you pay for in quality.

Thanks for the discussion!
Chris

Yes just keep in mind that you will either need a lockpick to interface your navigation (if equipped). Give us a call for all your options we love to talk about this stuff. The number is on our site at the top of the page.

Not sure if your aftermarket unit has provisions for video input. Most have a rear camera option but will not allow you to turn the camera on unless you are in reverse, which obviously won't help you with a front camera

If your head unit has a video RCA input and it can be activated through menu controls or a button then this will work perfectly! For example, if your rear camera can be activated any time on your head unit, then you will just need a RCA splitter box so you can run the front cam through the same channel.
