That's not too bad. About the same as a new CAC. I still assume these will only work with a custom tube tho...?

Also what would the gains be with the new turbo wheels.
Sorry if these are newb questions. I'm not to knowledgable about this stuff. I just really really REALLY liked the sound that truck makes. Lol

To answer the tune portion of your question , I have been doing a lot of driving around with the mods until my dyno time with Torrie on the 22nd .

At WOT the a/f ratio looks good steady around 11.6 to 11.7, the area where I see a tune is needed is in part throttle . If you leave a light lets say with about 35% throttle and hold it there so it will accel thru the gears the a/f is on the lean side around 14.8 to 15.6 with about 10#s of boost . I would rather see it in the mid 13s . The spool up is very quick the turbos whistle instantly . I love it .

With a tune you will get the biggest gains . Im sure these wheels will carry the power longer then the factory wheels do so more boost up to where the fuel system can support means bigger gains.

Oh and yes the wheels are 800.00 for the pair . Labor is not difficult but detailed . I would say about an 8 to 9 hour job start to finish. I would change the oil and new coolant at the same time while your down there .

Pete

Thanks for the info Pete, you have a sick build man. I just have to refrain from all this stuff until my truck is a little further through its warranty. I'm not looking for a strip truck per say just something that sounds like that lol.
Helluva job with that truck!

We recommend tuning to make sure that there is adequate fueling throughout. We will be announcing the 2013 wheels as soon as they are available.

Yes we recommend tuning for the wheels. After the wheels there is boost in parts of the curve where there wasn't before. Boost comes in alot sooner than with the factory wheels. We can brake boost ~7-8lbs of boost now, before would wold see no boost. They wheels make the turbos very responsive.

Been a few months. Is there update info? Is it posted on another thread? What is the hp and tq increase? Is there a dyno? Customer reviews on driveability? Would love to hear how good this product works.
