This is an additional item. Unless your selling dealership added it, then your truck more than likely does not have it.

Well, I folded up the seat and I can see a subwoofer under there. I'm guessing this is a Sony unit and not the Kicker? I'm not impressed with the bass even with the setting maxed.

The kicker sub installs behind the rear seat. You will see it when you fold the rear seat down. Not sure if that helps or not. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks,
Bobby

Yep, the sub I have from the factory is in the same place. I think it's a different sub, though. Wish I could find specs for both.

The kicker sub is an upgrade over the sony sub. I really can't say how much of an upgrade, that would vary person to person. We have sold quite a few to members on the forum that had the Sony package, and they all have been more that satisfied.

I just got the upgrade from Bobby and the guys at BannerAuto. It sounds great, it's just the nice amount of bass for factory sound. And not to mention the ease of just being able to pull it in to the rear of the cab and not having to totally remove the radio or anything else you would need to do for any other aftermarket system. Please message these guys great price and faster shipment.

I can say the same for Bobby @ Banner. I also ordered the Kicker kit. Easy to order, very helpful and polite. I should receive my kit on Wednesday. I plan to activate the Sub & amp myself using ForScan. Looking forward to a better sound from the stock system.
