Like mentioned above, why pay for it if you know you'll never use it. Less parts to wear out/break in the long run, and of course a little less weight to be carrying around.

Nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd at all. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just being silly.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I just don't understand if your gonna spend 40+k on a truck plus 3-5k in tires a wheels another few $K in a lift. Just get a 4x4. It's not like u leave it in 4x4 all the time. Plus if u have a lifted 2WD your gonna go off road & eventually u will need 4x4 at some point.

A lifted 2wd will never be as capable as a lifted 4wd. But. Lift it to the sky man. A good looking truck is a good looking truck.

Not everyone with a lifted truck takes it off-road. Not a Ford, but my current truck had NEVER been in a spot where it needed 4WD. Looking at ditching this for a EB FX4 this summer though..

I think its worth it! 2wd r fun in the mud as long as you have a buddy or a winch, plus the truck will look better lifted
