Default Wheel travel help

I had an earlier post on off road suspension but now I've narrowed my search down to an Icon or Fox 3 inch lift kit, but the problem is how do I tell how much wheel travel I will receive with such a lift as it just says it increases it.

the lift is on stage3motoraport.com as "2014 f150 4wd ICON 0-3 lift kit stage 3"
I'm not too big on all these car parts and such but it looks like it comes with fully adjustable performance coilvers, large diameter piggy back style performance shocks, and strong uniball upper control arms with improved articulation.

so my question again is how can I tell how much wheel travel this will give my 2014 f150 ecoboost?

Get the kit posted in your last thread. I would go with the RPG uniball control arms, they are much beefier than the others on the market. I have king 2.5 external bypass front coilovers, RPG uniball control arms, and I'm working on the rear at the moment. The combo of the coilovers and UCAs should put me at about stock raptor front wheel travel at about 11 inches. Im not sure what your budget is, but after install I've got 3k in the front alone and I have stock spindles and LCAs. The rear Deaver springs, rear triple bypass shocks, bed cage for the shocks, etc... It gets out of control fast. Re evaluate your needs to go with your budget, or you will be disappointed.

Default Wheel travel help

Word, but that seems rather expensive and a lot of parts will be needed which could rack up the bills. so I was considering more of a cheaper option and not so much long travel but rather medium travel mainly because I won't ever be racing or spending that much money on such a lift. but do u know how to tell how much wheel travel a lift can offer

Coilovers will not increase wheel travel, they just increase dampening capabilities. All 1" uniball upper control arms increase droop travel by 1". The camburg 1.25" uniball increases droop travel by 1.5". Stock travel is 8".

Raptor suspension swap. Would cost less than coilovers and upper arms and you get 12" of travel.

Until you start to lengthen the Control Arms and Front CV Axles (just to start with)...travel is going to be limited...no huge gains...but even an inch or so helps out off road and ride can be improved from stock with better damper/spring combos.

The kit comes with the arms and axles already extended. Just need coilovers
