Default What lift kit

I recently got a new 2013 Platinum 4x4 which now has 3500 mils on it. Friday I took it hunting for the first time off road. I ended up with two flat tires and spent all day waiting for a tow truck and some used tires. Tried it again Saturday and lost another one of the factory tires. The plan was to get some use out of the factory tires before upgrading but now it looks like it is time. I have decided on a set of BFG 285/65/20 all terrain T/A KO tires. Now I need to make a decision on a lift. I am considering either a 4" Rancho suspension lift or a set of 2" Rancho quick lift and adding 1" to the back. Anyone have and opinions on this or other ideas or photos of simmilar?

well I thought about the rancho lift for a little while, but in the end i did not want to regret only getting a 4 inch lift so i went with a 6 inch fabtech for a few bucks more.....now i want to lift it even higher and its only been 2 months

I don't want to go over 4". Rough County, Fabtech and BDS also make a 4" lift. I think I am leaning towards a lift over the leveling kit. Is there any other 4" lifts out there worth considering?

Those are basically it besides the skyjacker which is 4.5"... With a 4" you'll be wanting more lift.. I went with a Rancho 4 and so did about 8 other guys and they have begun stacking levels on top to make it higher..

I'm also looking for a 4" for my 2011 XLT I have 33x12.50 mud grapplers on 18x10 xd addicts with -12 backspace. How do y'all think it will look till I bump up to 35s?

Bump up to 35's... Once those 33's wear down it'll look like you are running stock on a lift

Yeah that's my plan. I just hope with that aggressive offset the 35s don't rub to bad.

I went ahead and got the quick lift. It was cheap and easy to install and Rancho told me their 4" lift will not work with the auto 4WD. I put 285/65/20 tires on today. I think it looks OK but it really needs just a little more lift. The quick lift only gave me 1.75 inches in the front (must be the 6.2 engine being heavier) I didn't do anything in the rear. It is close but I would like it just a little higher. I think 4 inches would be tops, 6 would be too high. I can lift the back real easy but the front will be tricky now. is a body lift an option? Is there a inch spacer for the front? Anyone use the Rough Country 4" lift? Will any of the 4" kits work with the auto 4WD?
